School seperated by sexes

Well the Carmel Indiana school district is trying something new this year.  In one of their schools they are separating boys and girls.  Girls start at 7 a.m and Boys start at 8 a.m.  Their classes are on different floors.  Teachers have already said that the concentration level is higher, but too soon to tell if it is working or not.

I don't know how I feel about this.  On one hand if it improves test scores and they actually get educated instead of dropping out when they turn 16 then good.  But I remember school as being a place where you learn to socialize and build friendships.  Boarding schools are segregated and they seem to work.  As I hear more on how this is working I will post it.
